PETALING JAYA: The Government has approved a RM4mil allocation for the Sabah state election which must be held by next March.
Election Commission chairman Datuk Harun Din said the budget was more than the RM2.1mil in the 1994 state election.
"We are increasing the number of staff and the cost of
chartering
helicopters is expected to be higher than before," he
said after meeting Parti Rakyat Malaysia's president yesterday.
